Reims, July 2021
In 2021 the Fête Nationale, which is what the French call July 14, is the perfect festive, summery occasion to get together with friends who appreciate the inimitable bubbles and discover the latest member of the Chanoine Frères Réserve Privée family of champagnes — a very lovely Blanc de Blancs, 100% Chardonnay.
Chanoine Frères Réserve Privée, Blanc de Blancs 100% Chardonnay
Isabelle Tellier, Chef de Cave of the House of Chanoine, designed this champagne using grapes from the Côte des Blancs and Côte de Sézanne, two magnificent Champagne terroirs where Chardonnay reigns. She says:
“— Drawing on these two vineyards, I’ve developed a 100% Chardonnay champagne that highlights all the minerality and freshness that are so typical of this noble variety. I wanted a delicate and vivacious wine, free of distractions, with body, a precise and elegant champagne.”

A summer buffet with Réserve Privée 100% Chardonnay from Chanoine Frères
For a one-of-a-kind July 14 celebration, Isabelle Tellier — Chef de Cave and a lover of fine dining with a passion for the art of pairing wine and food — has created a summer menu for a gathering of friends around an outdoor buffet, based on simple and pleasing ideas.
It associates the savory and the sweet with dishes that are easy to prepare to accompany this Blanc de Blancs, best drunk at a temperature of between 10° and 12°C.
