Five Gold Medals for Tsarine at the Berlin Wine Trophy 2023

Reims, March 2023
The 27th Berlin Wine Trophy worldwide competition has awarded gold medals to five Tsarine champagnes: Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, Tsarine By Adriana, Tzarina, and Tzarina Rosé.
The competition, one of the largest and most important in the world, is held under the patronage of the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine). This year it took place from 25 February to 5 March in Berlin, Germany.
More than 14,400 wines from some forty countries were blind-tasted by an international jury of 400 made up of oenologists, winegrowers, sommeliers, importers and specialized journalists.

Tsarine Rosé wins a second gold in 2023
The gold medal in the Berlin Wine Trophy comes just after another gold won by Tsarine Rosé in the Mundus Vini 2023 competition. Last year, the champagne won awards in the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2022 and in the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge.

Tsarine Blanc de Blancs collects gold medals
In its ravishing black bottle, Tsarine Blanc de Blancs champagne continues its harvest of gold medals. The cuvée, blended exclusively from the best Chardonnays and created by Isabelle Tellier, Chef de Cave, won four gold medals in 2022:
Double Gold in the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge
Gold in the Feminalise World Wine Competition in France
Gold in the Mundus Vini competition in Germany
Gold in the Berlin Wine Trophy worldwide competition in Germany, a distinction confirmed by the new Gold in the same competition in 2023.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine, the benchmark magazine in the USA in the world of wines and spirits, also awarded an excellent score of 92/100 to Tsarine Blanc de Blancs.

Tsarine’s cuvées de prestige are gold-standard
Tsarine By Adriana, in its superb metallic-gold fluted bottle, is riding the crest of a wave of success as the year begins. The Berlin Wine Trophy award is its third gold medal, after the ones garnered in the Mundus Vini competition and the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards.
With its lovely intense rose color, Tzarina Rosé — the latest creation by Isabelle Tellier — is also riding the wave with three gold medals in 2023: in the Berlin Wine Trophy, the Mundus Vini competition, and the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards. The awards amount to real international recognition for the new Tzarina Rosé cuvée, launched in 2022.

Its elder sister Tzarina Brut also took a gold medal in the Sakura Women’s Wine Awards. The Tzarina cuvée de prestige recently earned an excellent score of 93/100 from Wine Enthusiast, the leading US wines-and-spirits magazine.
